Stayed in the hotel in June 2008. We came for Metallica show and spent 5 days in Prague. Everything was great: the city, the show... and the hotel. We had a room bordering the street with trams, but they were not disturbing us coz every evening we came after midnight, tired and weary, and after lots of beer ;) I recommend this hotel to all my friends. I like the location (7-10 min to center on foot) and the price/quality is very good.

We had an excellent holiday.The hotel was as described and we had a suite, not just one room.We liked the atmosphere and the staff were friendly.Breakfast was very basic (no eggs-we Brititish love eggs)but friendly serving staff.

Just to let you know that we had a wonderful stay. We will be back if we can. The hotel was all that it promised and all the staff were excellent and very professional. Breakfast was good and staff were very good at keeping everything topped and tidy. The taxi service from the airport was brilliant, the drivers were exceptionally helpful. The receptionist the night we arrived was wonderful. She found me extra pillows to put under my daughters broken arm. I had forgotten to ask for then when we arrived.This hotel and taxi service deserves to do well.

We were met at Holesovice Train Station in Prague by the car service you provided.
We advise travelers to take advantage of such pickup services which take alot of strain off getting to the hotel with bags. Our driver was very nice and spoke very good English. (We used the same service to take us to the airport when we left Prague.)
We loved the Hotel at the St. John/U Sv.Jana. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and we were able to get great information and directions. The setting and location of the hotel was ideal - very close to public transporation - and we were quite impressed with the architecture of the building both inside and out. Breakfast was a typical European breakfast of meat, cheese, bread, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. Our room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The only drawback was noise from the main street just below our room(#32). Traffic, especially trams, ran late into the night and began early in the morning. We still enjoyed our stay and would book this hotel again if we could get a room that did not border on the main street. Stay: June 18-21, 2008.

We have very much enjoyed our stay. Friendly, courteous staff; clean rooms.Our only complaint would be the beds – they are so hard – it is like purgatory sleeping on them. My back may never be the same again.

A most enjoyable stay in Prague – public transport system very efficient – trams and buses on time and reliable. Restaurants varied and great selection to choose from. Room comfortable and clear – would have liked a hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. Reception staff very helpful, especially one who helped us plan a trip to Slany and co-ordinated transport/maps/timetibles etc. A well situated hotel and despite the noisy traffic was very pleasing to stay in.

A really good reasonably priced hotel with staff that could not be more helpful and polite. Great little czech restaurant less than 10 minutes walk down the hill on the right (very cheap but wonderful food and drink)
